By accessing our website or confirming a booking with Classical Lanka Tours, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.


1. Use of the Website

a. You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking with Classical Lanka Tours.

b. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information when submitting inquiries or confirming bookings.

c. You may not use our website for unlawful, fraudulent, or unauthorized purposes.

d. Any misuse of the website, including attempts to damage, hack, or disrupt functionality, is strictly prohibited.


2. Booking & Confirmation

a. A booking is confirmed only after:

  • Receipt of the required deposit or full payment
  • Written confirmation from Classical Lanka Tours

b. By confirming a booking, you agree to purchase the selected travel services, including transport, accommodation, safaris, and excursions.

c. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any booking due to:

  • Availability limitations
  • Pricing errors
  • Incomplete payment
  • Suspected fraudulent activity

d. All clients are responsible for ensuring that passport validity, visas, and travel documents comply with Sri Lanka immigration requirements.


3. Pricing & Inclusions

a. All prices are quoted in the agreed currency and include only the services specifically mentioned in the confirmed itinerary.

b. Prices may vary depending on:

  • Season (Peak & Off-Peak)
  • Hotel availability
  • Government taxes and park entrance fees
  • Fuel price adjustments

c. National park entrance fees for locations such as:

  • Yala National Park
  • Udawalawe National Park
  • Wilpattu National Park

are subject to government revisions without prior notice.

d. Any additional services not mentioned in the itinerary will incur extra charges.


4. Payments

a. A deposit is required to secure multi-day and tailor-made tours.

b. The balance payment must be completed before the tour commencement date unless otherwise agreed.

c. We use secure third-party payment gateways. Classical Lanka Tours does not store full credit/debit card details.

d. Clients authorize us to charge the agreed amount for confirmed services.


5. Amendments & Cancellations

a. Cancellations and refunds are subject to our published Refund & Cancellation Policy.

b. Amendments to confirmed bookings are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

c. Certain services such as hotel reservations and safari jeep bookings may have separate supplier cancellation policies.


6. Travel Conditions & Responsibilities

a. Clients must follow the instructions of drivers, guides, and park authorities at all times.

b. During wildlife safaris and excursions, safety guidelines issued by authorities must be strictly followed.

c. Classical Lanka Tours is not responsible for:

  • Personal injuries resulting from negligence
  • Loss or theft of personal belongings
  • Delays caused by traffic, weather, or unforeseen circumstances


7. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Government restrictions
  • Political unrest
  • Road closures
  • National park closures
  • Extreme weather conditions

In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule or adjust the itinerary where possible.


8. Limitation of Liability

a. Classical Lanka Tours, its employees, drivers, and affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

b. We do not guarantee wildlife sightings during safari tours, as these are natural experiences beyond our control.

c. Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific booked service.


9. Changes to Terms & Conditions

Classical Lanka Tours reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.

It is your responsibility to review this page periodically for updates.
